Professional Background and Civic Involvement
Restituto T. Lopez has extensive experience in auditing and consultancy for over 30 years. He attended and has successfully completed in May 1992 the KPMG International Partner Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA.
Mr. Lopez is a Certified Public Accountant, graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Accounting from the University of the East. He is a holder of a Master in Management Degree from the Asian Institute of Management, a registered auditor under the United Kingdom Act of 1985 and an accredited consultant of the Asian Development Bank.
Mr. Lopez was President of Rotary Club of Makati Guadalupe (RY1989-90) and a Paul Harris Fellow, Chairman of the 47th Annual National Convention of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Executive Vice-President of the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP), and Vice-Chairman of the Asian Institute of Management Alumni Association. He is a member of Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), and a member of the Board of Trustees of Metropolitan Club, Inc.

- Former Vice Chairman of Fernandez, Santos & Lopez, CPAs. He was KPMG Philippines’ representative to the KPMG Asean Board and its representative to the Management Consulting Committee of KPMG Asia Pacific.
- Former President of KPMG-MCC Information Technology Corporation. Through the use of leading-edge software solutions and technologies, KPMG helps its clients respond faster and more efficiently to changes in their business environment.
- Former President of Transnational Construction Corporation. The group is involved in the construction business, management services and in the leasing of commercial spaces.
- Former General Manager of Alkemal Philippines, Inc., a company involved in the export business and physical trading of commodities.
